Currently, I am not writing much due to multiple human-made crises overseas that have our attention. We are building infrastructure in a nation having the first and fourth highest suicide rates in the world, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the World Health Organization (WHO), respectively.

The nation’s President declared a national emergency for a demographic crisis consisting of a decreased birth rate and elderly population. The nation spent over 380 trillion in local currency on the problem for the past 18 years, but it has worsened. Recently an article written, cited the boosting of the birth rate for the first time in 9 years. One must understand the boost has little to do with the national emergency declaration. The emergency declared in June 2024 would not impact the year’s statistics. We know a full-term pregnancy is about 40 weeks or 10 months. We do not see the critical changes at the root of the problems.

Therefore, what is the reason for the cited boost for the first time in nine years? In the year 2015, there was a similar boost, but the rate continued to decline thereafter. The decline led to the current national emergency. The demographic crisis is made more complex because of the nation’s suicide rate.

A Multifaceted Intervention

Our multifaceted intervention will not fail to resolve these crises in the best possible manner. It will also deal with the chaos in Government and the country’s portion of the $8.8 trillion lost output figure due to low engagement. Suicide is the #1 cause of death among young people and the #1 cause of death among the nation’s military. Nevertheless, the country can become a miracle nation again.

Therefore, please understand that we are focusing on the vision and purpose of our organization. That is to improve the lives and livelihoods of people globally while making leadership the best it can be in our lifetime. There is much to write about considering where we left off in our latest newsletter. We will continue with our articles and newsletters as soon as we can.
